Today on Flashpoints a breaking story from out of Atlanta that ties the extreme right to the republican party in Georgia and to the violence in Washington D.C.: And we are excited to feature a regular new segment airing every other Friday called FlashForward hosted by senior producer Kevin Pina. It’s a roundtable format where Kevin and his guests recap and discuss the major issues of the week with an eye towards what it means for progressive politics and organizing for change. Kevin’s guests on today’s show are the founder of the Black Alliance for Peace, Ajamu Baraka, Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin and civil rights lawyer and activist Shahid Buttar.
