Today on Flashpoints, we continue our drumbeat coverage of the situation in Libya as the Obama administration and France reverse their position and drop demands that Gaddafi leave the country. The backdrop to this change of policy is a rebel defeat in the oil hub region of Brega. We also talk about events in Libya with Vijay Prashad, author of the book The Darker Nations: A People’s History of the Third World. Then we look at the upcoming third round of a Congressional investigation into radical Muslim Americans by New York Republican Peter King. Then we talk to Greg Mitchell about his new book exposing the realities of the effects of nuclear war in Japan at the end of WWII, and how Google tried to censor it. Finally, we return to Arizona, where a Tea Party-led legislature and governor’s office announce a $50 million fundraising initiative to build a second wall along the Arizona border with Mexico.
