People remove debris after police brutally attack Occupy Oakland

Today on Flashpoints, hundreds of police in riot gear and heavily armed attacked occupation Oakland letting loose with flash grenades, tear gas, sound cannons, and rubber bullets. We’ll have a special report on the police riot and the complicity of the mayor in this brutal action. Also we’ll have our regular report Occupy America. We’ll speak to former poet laureate and well-known poet Billy Collins about why he supports the Occupy Wall Street movement. And we’ll be joined by Davey D. who was on the scene this morning and has more information about press coverage and what happened as the scene unfolded.
