Today on Flashpoints members of Occupy Oakland plan a General Strike for Wednesday November 2nd. We’ll have a report on the plans for the strike and we’ll speak to anti-police brutality activist and community organizer Rachel Jackson. Also we’ll take a look at media cheerleaders with one of the directors of project censored. We’ll have an update from the roommate and close friend of Scott Olsen who remains in the hospital in critical condition. And we’ll have a report from hard knock radio’s Anita Johnson who was in the streets on Tuesday night getting tear gassed by the cops that the out of town mayor said was working hard to “protect the people of Oakland.” We get an update of the deteriorating human rights situation in Haiti where the new president is taking the country back to the future by trying to return to the former military.
