Today on Flashpoints, we’ll spend most of the hour on the fire at the massive Chevron Refinery in Richmond, the second in five years that sent thousands of residents running for cover, and over 400 hundred others to local hospitals, with severe breathing problems. Several groups are holding press conferences at this hour, regarding the toxic Chevron fire and several protests near the refinery are planned for tonight as well. We’ll also hear about the battle to Preserve the historic mural at the La Pena Cultural Center in Oakland California.
