UC Berkeley Cops jam batons into protestors

Today on Flashpoints we’ll have an in-depth report on the violent police reaction in response to UC Berkeley students setting up Occupy California. We’ll speak to three students who were beaten badly and arrested as well as an English professor at UC Berkeley. And we’ll hear about a general strike by the students against the University planned for Tuesday. Also we’ll get a live report of an ongoing protest at UC Berkeley against the big corporate banks. And we’ll feature interviews for an event on Sunday called Earth At Risk full-day event of Derrick Jensen interviewing visionaries and revolutionary activists.
